Urban Mirror

Designed for Metalco by Davide Anzalone and Alberto Mattiello, Urban Mirror is much more than a collection of street furniture. It is a tribute to the “selfie generation” and as much as to all those who practice mindfulness and want to look inside themselves to see beyond. It proves that everything we do is a self-portrait and every moment is a diary. It embodies the ability of reflective surfaces to create innovative social languages and makes the mirror – that has always been a fundamental indoor design object – a “key” element for outdoor environments. Urban Mirror is designed not only to amplify the architectural or natural beauty of the surrounding places, but also to bring new energy and promote interaction and freedom of expression, transforming traditional places into meeting points and
making the urban space a “stage” for street artists, local events and sports workouts. The entire collection has been created to integrate elements and accessories: from bike racks to benches inspired by the “frame”, everything is designed to initiate a dialogue, to inspire movement and to give as many people as possible a reason to spend their time outdoor.

Mirror module of the Urban Mirror collection, available in two versions, composed of two or three monolithic elements made of HPC (High Performance Concrete) and a steel sheet structure that serves as a frame for a composite aluminum panel with mirror finish. It can be installed individually or in composition with the other elements of the Urban Mirror collection (excluding the F module).

URBAN MIRROR BC: Bench module of the Urban Mirror collection composed of a monolithic element in HPC (High Performance Concrete) with steel sheet structure, that serves as a cover, and a seat top with backrest in WPC (Wood Polymer Composite). It can be installed individually or in composition with the F module of the the Urban Mirror collection.

URBAN MIRROR F: Planter module of the Urban Mirror collection made of HPC (High Performance
Concrete), with recess at the base. It can be installed individually or in composition
with the B and BC modules of the Urban Mirror collection.

BIKE RACK module of the Urban Mirror collection, available in two versions, composed of one or two monolithic elements made of HPC (High Performance Concrete) equipped with steel sheet top with steel tube wheel supports. It can be installed individually or in composition with the other elements of the Urban Mirror collection (excluding the F module).

BENCH MODULE of the Urban Mirror collection, available in two versions, composed of a monolithic element in HPC (High Performance Concrete) with steel sheet seat top with backrest in WPC (Wood Polymer Composite). The BB model can be installed individually or in composition with the other elements of the Urban Mirror collection
(excluding the F module). The model B can be installed individually or in composition with the module F of the Urban Mirror collection.
